Job Title: Steel Stud Framer - Construction Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at K Sidhu Contracting Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a construction environment with varying locations, including commercial and residential sites. The job requires working at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

What We Offer:

  • A permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
