Boston Pizza Miramichi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Dental and health care plans.
- Support for newcomers and refugees, including access to Elders for guidance and support.
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
