Job Title: Support Worker - Early Intervention Programming

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Wenson Support Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to at-risk youth in a group home setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions, implementing behavior management programs, and conducting social research to assess client needs. You will also be required to maintain program statistics, liaise with other social services agencies, and provide support with daily living activities such as housekeeping and food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
  • Implement behavior management programs to support client development
  • Conduct social research to assess client needs and eligibility for services
  • Maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Provide support with daily living activities such as housekeeping and food preparation
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
