About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estate Planning Advisor to join our team at National Bank Financial (NBF). As a key member of our client advisory team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and Investment Advisors with their estate planning needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on estate planning concepts, including succession law, trusts, and administration of the property of others
  • Conducting client interviews and establishing trust relationships with high-net-worth clients
  • Drafting detailed estate planning recommendations tailored to each client's unique needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support the region's Investment Advisors and clients in estate planning
  • Managing complex cases with tight deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions on estate planning to Investment Advisors
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities for all services and products offered by National Bank Financial

Requirements

  • Member of the Barreau or of the Chambre des notaires du Québec
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning concepts, including succession law, trusts, and administration of the property of others
  • Significant experience in an expert advisory role
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with various types of professionals
  • Skills in simplifying complex information
  • Listening skills necessary for understanding clients' sensitive issues
