Automotive Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize systems and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Learn and maintain solid product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance, and incentive programs.
- Project a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ensure all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
- Work effectively without supervision and attend factory-sponsored and dealer-specified training classes as scheduled by management.
- Answer customer service phone calls relating to car sale inquiries and ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
- Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle's delivery and inform customers when vehicles are ready to be picked up.
- Keep abreast of new equipment, features, and tools available and recommend purchases.
- Account for all documents and ensure that none are missing.
- Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding late vehicle deliveries and comply with strict regulations and requirements of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times and comply with all company policies, standards, and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Automotive sales experience is preferred.
- OMVIC certification is required.
- Dealer CRM system experience is required.
- Must have a valid Ontario driver's license and good driving record.
- Strong computer skills and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong time management and organizational skills and proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and ability to be flexible under changing conditions.
- Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating and exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
- Well-spoken, friendly, and articulate with ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
