Senior Regional Business Development Manager

A highly experienced Senior Regional Business Development Manager is sought to develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with a select portfolio of key regional customers. As the trusted advisor for these accounts, you will work closely with our teams to understand customer needs and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth and profitability.

The Role
This role requires a highly skilled professional who can develop and execute comprehensive account plans to meet customer objectives and drive sales growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key regional customers
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions
- Providing regular business reviews and analysis to ensure contract compliance and profitability
- Negotiating customer agreements and utilizing customer profitability and pricing models to optimize revenue
- Sourcing new products and initiating product conversions to drive category penetration
- Participating in customer conferences and tradeshows to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related field (preferred)
- A minimum of five years of outside sales and customer partnering experience, preferably in food service distribution
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- A customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional results

Salary Estimate
Based on industry standards and market research, we estimate the salary for this role to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate includes a base salary and potential bonuses based on performance.
