Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Stratford Toyota. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our building, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, and use polishing machines to maintain floors.
  • Physical Demands: Work in all weather conditions, move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Work Environment: Work with minimal supervision, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, and water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
