Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Veolia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment, including inspections, testing, and repair;
  • Install and replace electrical components, such as motors, pumps, and control systems;
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques;
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting;
  • Valid 442A Electrician Licence and/or a Valid 433A Millwright Licence (dual tickets valued);
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, as required.
