Job Title: Home Childcare Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to work as a Home Childcare Assistant with our company, Wilma Padon. As a Home Childcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to children in a home setting. Your duties will include bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home. You will also be responsible for preparing nutritious meals, taking children to and from school, and assisting with homework. Additionally, you will be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children. Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare
  • Non-smoking
  • Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty
