Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at the Starlight Child Care Centre. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our child care centre and contributing to the overall well-being of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assess the children's development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a child care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
