Pet Valu is a leading pet specialty retailer dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Sales Associate - Store Operations Leader to join our team.
Estimated Salary Range$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences and ensuring seamless store operations. As a Retail Sales Associate - Store Operations Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Safety and Compliance: Maintaining a safe and clean store environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and ensuring the well-being of all pets in-store.
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and recommending products to meet customers' needs.
- Store Operations: Assisting with daily store tasks, such as opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Loyalty and Retention: Building relationships with customers, understanding their preferences, and promoting loyalty programs to drive repeat business.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a pet-related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license (may be required).
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
