Nordic Bearings is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Warehouse Associate. This position will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our warehouse division.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Unpack and route goods to their designated storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Maintain internal record-keeping systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and orders.
- Adhere to safe storage and handling procedures for chemicals and materials.
- Document inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
- Comply with quality service standards and follow established procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Able to lift, push, and slide heavy objects safely.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and management.
- Able to work independently and make decisions within a structured environment.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
- Prior warehouse experience is an asset but not required.
