We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Coordinator to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the store, ensuring that store objectives are achieved by focusing on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor.

About the Role

As a Retail Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive customer traffic, and positively impact store profitability. You will work closely with the Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom. Additionally, you will help manage labour scheduling and leverage Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize labour productivity.

The ideal candidate will have previous retail management experience, demonstrated ability to drive the business, led by example, and support corporate programs. They will also possess superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills, as well as business and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive customer traffic, and positively impact store profitability.
  • Work with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom.
  • Help manage labour scheduling and leverage Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize labour productivity.
  • Ensure staffing levels are adequate to effectively operate the business.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the business, led by example, and support corporate programs.
  • Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
