Job Title: Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at NorWest Community Health Centres.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct routine check-ups, and diagnose and treat various medical conditions. They will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists and community health workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in family medicine
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in Canada
  • Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a rural or underserved area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
