Job Summary

The City of Yellowknife is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our Corporate Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing complex project and technical support for our Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) and Asset Management technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS databases, GIS application initiatives, mapping websites, and integrate spatial data across all facets of the City.
  • Work closely with the Geomatics Officer and Asset Management Coordinator to provide high-quality customer service.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize GIS and Asset Management projects.

Requirements

  • University degree or technology diploma in a relevant discipline (i.e., geography, GIS, environmental science, software or geomatics engineering).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Enterprise Asset Management and GIS software systems and applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL database design and Enterprise EAM and GIS Architecture.
