Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
    • Plan and organize daily operations to meet the needs of our clients and staff.
  • Staff Management
    • Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
    • Plan and control budget and inventory to ensure the financial stability of the facility.
    • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
    • Provide foreign credential recognition support to help newcomers and refugees integrate into the workforce.
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
    • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
    • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities
