Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Team Lead to join our team at KFC and Taco Bell. As a Shift Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to our staff, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge and advance in their careers.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service, ensuring that it meets our high standards and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues and ensuring that customers leave satisfied.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 30 hours per week.
