Job Title: Tutor - Secondary School Subjects

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a Tutor - Secondary School Subjects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic support to students in secondary school subjects. This will involve creating and delivering lesson plans, providing one-on-one instruction, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students in secondary school subjects
  • Provide one-on-one instruction to students, using a variety of teaching methods and materials
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Prepare and administer tests and evaluations to measure student understanding
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. education, teaching)
  • Experience working with students in secondary school subjects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of in-person and remote work. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable using technology to support teaching and learning.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week.
