Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing Technician

Hatch is seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Testing Technician to join our team in the Mississauga office. As a key member of our Technologies team, you will be responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing duties for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and calibrate NDT systems in the field
  • Collect and analyze NDT data in the field
  • Complete reports using various instrumentations and techniques
  • Assist in NDT field service marketing
  • Stay up-to-date with new equipment and technologies
  • Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally
  • Benefit from formal and informal mentorship from industry experts
  • Gain experience in a wide variety of roles, work types, and industries
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Hatch proprietary technologies
Requirements:
  • College Diploma or Degree in Non-Destructive Testing or relevant field
  • Knowledge of ultrasonic, stress wave, and electromagnetic wave propagation techniques and instrumentations
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of various NDT techniques and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of coarse-grained NDT techniques is an asset
  • Ability to interact with other people and work in a team environment

Extensive local and international travel and on-site fieldwork are required. All applicants must submit a copy of their college/university transcript(s).
