Pizza Pizza is seeking a skilled Pizza Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, planning menus, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. You will also be responsible for preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, and training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate

Work Setting:

  • Restaurant
  • Rural area

Tasks:

  • Co-ordinate special events
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
