Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Coaching Manager to join our team at Royal Roads University. The successful candidate will lead and supervise a team of Team Coaches, providing day-to-day coaching and feedback while identifying and escalating higher-level issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of Team Coaches, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of team coaching services.
  • Coaching and Feedback: Provide day-to-day coaching and feedback to Team Coaches, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth and development.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement team coaching programs that meet the needs of students and faculty, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with academic program heads, student services units, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of team coaching services.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in team coaching and provide opportunities for Team Coaches to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in team coaching or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of team coaching principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in a university setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Administrative Experience: Experience in an administrative role, with a focus on program development and implementation.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a leadership role, with a focus on team management and development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
