We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Support Specialist to join our team at Meglab inc. in Val-d'Or. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes, including receiving and shipping goods.

About the Job

This Logistics Support Specialist position plays a vital role in maintaining our supply chain efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a forklift and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks and trailers;
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles;
  • Delivering goods to our Malartic facility;
  • Snow removal from doors;
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records using our computerized system.

In addition to your operational responsibilities, this role also involves contributing to the overall success of our team by:

  • Providing excellent customer service to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve any logistical issues that may arise;
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve knowledge and skills related to logistics and warehouse operations.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • Good physical ability to perform the duties of the job;
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • A Forklift permit (asset);
  • Proficiency in Office Suite applications (asset).
