About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Deli Lead to join our team at Tony's Fresh Market. As a Deli Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the deli area is well-maintained and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and place orders to meet department needs.
- Receive and inspect merchandise to ensure quality and freshness.
- Inspect floor displays to ensure products are properly rotated and merchandised.
- Review team members' schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous grocery retail experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
Working Conditions
- Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
