About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Optimization Specialist to join our team at RONA Inc. as a Supply Chain Analyst. As a key member of our distribution network team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping optimal logistics flow within our dynamic supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Flow Optimization: Using an array of tools and data sources, you will make informed decisions on distribution channels, inbound transportation models, and product storage parameters.
  • Technical Expertise: You will serve as a technical expert with a solid foundation in supply chain fundamentals, committed to continually enhancing your expertise to navigate the complexities of our ever-evolving distribution network.
  • Results-Oriented Analysis: With strong analytical skills, you will possess the ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and simplified manner, providing crucial support to internal stakeholders.
  • Operational Performance Enhancement: You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance the operational performance of logistics flows through tight control of financial parameters and alignment between operational decisions and our overarching supply chain strategies.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis and Reporting: You will manage regular operational requests, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and ensure the periodic maintenance of critical parameters.
Requirements
  • Supply Chain Analysis: You will analyze regular operational requests requiring the assignment or revision of business rules and parameters concerning the logistics flows of goods within the supply chain.
  • Problem-Solving: You will perform analyses on problems and/or anomalies reported by operational teams, propose solutions, make corrections, if necessary, or solicit input from appropriate support groups.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: You will act as a subject matter expert and resource person at head office for the company's support functions.
  • Logistical Decision-Making: You will manage logistical decision-making activities requiring the buy-in of contributors from multiple business lines.
