About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Leader to join our team in Canada. Reporting to the VP & General Manager, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing a new sales strategy to drive revenue acceleration and profitable growth for the company. The successful candidate will lead the sales organization, work closely with stakeholders, and develop strategies to expand market share and promote our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with marketing to develop strategies that support portfolio growth, income generation, and cross-functional project support
- Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver on sales targets and build a foundation for excellence in customer adoption
- Participate in the management team to drive strategic growth and develop business partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Travel across Canada to meet with clients and stakeholders (up to 25% of the time)
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in building and leading sales organizations with a proven track record of driving growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to provide collaborative plans and advisement
- B2B commercial experience is preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable Skills:
- Committed to continuous improvement in managing all aspects of the business
- Familiarity with strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities
- Ability to provide ongoing formal and informal training to drive career development of direct reports
