Job Description

The AVP Enterprise Security Architecture will play a critical role in designing and implementing our organization's security architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats.

This position requires strong partnerships with senior technology leaders, including the Global Chief Information Security Officer and their leadership team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the information security team to ensure all digital assets, applications, networks, and data assets are secure and compliant with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in security technologies, including encryption, firewalls, Identity and Access Management (IAM), intrusion detection, Security Information Event Management (SIEM), and network security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an enterprise security architecture strategy in line with our enterprise security strategy
  • Act as the subject matter expert on security architecture for senior leadership and external partners
  • Establish and maintain security architecture frameworks, methodologies, and standards
  • Design and implement security architecture solutions across applications, networks, cloud, and data to ensure adherence to security policies, controls, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Support security assessments and audits
  • Participate in the Architecture Review Council and raise items as required to collaborate on architecturally significant decisions

The successful candidate will lead a team consisting of Portfolio Architects and Solutions Architects, guiding them in their personal and professional development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, SABSA) are a plus, and at least 10 years of experience in the security architecture domain, with at least 5 years in financial services.

You should have deep knowledge of security technologies, a strategic mindset, analytical thinking, leadership skills, and experience managing a team's personal and professional development.

Estimated Salary Range

$144,300 - $240,500 annually
