About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Manufacturing Operations Team as a Manufacturing Operations Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the steel production process, including operating computer systems, quality control, and mobile equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computer systems (HMIs) to run and monitor operations
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Operate mobile equipment (cranes, tractors, forklifts) safely and efficiently
  • Participate in job rotations to develop knowledge, skills, and competence
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
  • Approximately one year of experience in industrial/manufacturing settings or relevant experience in overhead/remote crane operation, heavy equipment operation, Canadian Forces, steel industry, construction, bricklaying, welding, or shipping and receiving
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and basic computer and software literacy
