Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Profit Growth: Drive profitable sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management, and sales forecasts. Analyze sales/financial reports, economic trends, and community needs to identify and respond to market changes while controlling expenditures.
  2. Operational Planning: Create operational plans with the management team, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide clear direction to managers and associates. Ensure optimal store conditions through effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, and store standards within company policies and guidelines.
  3. Asset Protection and Safety: Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and oversee safety and operational reviews. Ensure compliance with Walmart policies and procedures and established safety, security, sales, financial, and record-keeping procedures and practices.
  4. Customer Service: Serve customers as an ambassador for the store by greeting customers, seeking feedback, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines to create a positive shopping experience.
  5. Community Engagement: Support store initiatives to serve the community by participating in and supporting community events and developing relationships with key community groups.
  6. Associate Development: Lead associates by conducting regular store meetings, communicating operational direction and initiatives, and driving engagement. Recognize and reward accomplishments and provide opportunities for professional growth.
  7. Performance Management: Demonstrate company values by holding associates accountable through timely, honest, specific, and respectful performance feedback and corrective and disciplinary action.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in business or a related field is an asset.

The pay range for this position is $53,000 to $64,000 per year, depending on relevant experience.
