Job Summary

BSG Tire & Lube Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, and testing repaired equipment for proper performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Troubleshoot and inspect heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, ensuring prompt and efficient repair.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring that all repairs meet manufacturers' specifications.
  • Quality Control: Test repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring that all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working with heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina and be able to work in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
