Team Lead for Regional Hospitals

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Site Leader to oversee and coordinate the delivery of direct patient care at our Regional Hospitals after hours, on weekends and/or as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of direct patient care, ensuring the overall responsibility for the supervision of staff and the effectiveness of care provided on the units.
- Provide leadership and direction to Patient Care Coordinators and/or Charge Nurses, making critical decisions and solving complex problems that impact patient care and safety.
- Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of patient service interfaces between clinical units/departments, coordinating hospital operations in accordance with established policies and standards of quality and patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an approved School of Nursing.
- Five (5) years' recent, relevant, acute care experience, including a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisory and/or administrative capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
