Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Corporate Office in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve customer service levels while enhancing working capital efficiency.
- Lead the supply chain team, ensuring a continuous focus on improvement.
- Establish inventory best practices that support financial and operational goals.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for manufacturing facilities and the North American branch network.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ERP-enabled processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement and logistics in a manufacturing and distribution industry.
- SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation is an asset.
- 1-5 years of experience with MS Great Plains, Dynamics 365, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices in supply chain management.
- Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes.
- Solid exposure to a continuous improvement environment.
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
