Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of construction workers and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, including bricklayers, tilesetters, glaziers, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, and other tradespeople.
  • Prepare production reports and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
  • Healthcare plan.
  • Permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
  • English language required.

$70,000 - $90,000 per year. Estimated based on location and experience.
