Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financing process from start to finish. This includes working closely with customers to understand their financial needs, preparing credit applications, and ensuring that all required paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary package of $100,000-$150,000 per year. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive excellent management support and guidance, opportunities for career advancement through our internal mobility program, and access to a range of benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as disability, critical illness, and life insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between customers and financial institutions to obtain confirmation of financing, insurance, licensing, and other personal information
- Prepare credit applications for all customers and provide alternative solutions for those who are not immediately approved for financing
- Examine all required paperwork with customers to complete transactions
- Build relationships with customers to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction, while maintaining confidentiality on all sensitive information provided by customers
- Maintain lender guides of relevant programs and retain product knowledge to analyze credit reports and recognize conventional deals
- Prepare cost special finance deals and profit sheets
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive financial services
- OMVIC certification
- Dealer CRM system experience
- Previous sales experience in an automotive, retail, or hospitality environment
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and exhibit professionalism at all times
- Well-spoken, friendly, and articulate communication skills
- A valid Ontario driver's license and good driving record
- Experience with Google Suite and dealership management systems is an asset but not required
