About the Role

Fox Harb'r Resort is a 5-Star, 4-Diamond property nestled along the coast of the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Property Attendant.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment**: Ensure public areas throughout the Resort are clean and well-maintained, including daily cleaning tasks and restocking supplies and linens.
  • **Supply Management**: Collect soiled linens and restock linen closets, ensuring a seamless supply chain.
  • **Waste Management**: Empty trash in all public areas and clean public area restrooms, maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
  • **Surface Cleaning**: Clean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces, and ensure furniture is properly arranged.
  • **Floor Care**: Vacuum and mop floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • **Safety and Sanitation**: Follow all safety and sanitation policies, reporting necessary maintenance items to ensure a secure and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • **Valid Canadian Driver's License**: Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license to operate Resort vehicles.
  • **Previous Experience**: Previous experience in a hotel environment is an asset, demonstrating a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
  • **Physical Fitness**: Be physically fit, able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and operate stepladders.
  • **Communication and Organizational Skills**: Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • **Teamwork and Guest Interaction**: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
