Job Summary

Fox Harb'r Resort is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the resort's outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Tie and prune trees and plants
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns
  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Remove litter and garbage
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Apply fertilizers and pest control measures
  • Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers, and other landscape maintenance equipment
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • No formal education is required
  • Experience is an asset, but on-the-job training will be provided
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Reliability, organized, team player, and dependable
  • Basic level of English required
