About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and beverages in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups, to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and provide a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: Work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing customer demands, and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job, with a focus on developing customer service and food preparation skills.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
