Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at Sonia Zarbatany. As a Family Support Worker, you will provide support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid Certificate

Working Conditions:

  • Non-smoking environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Handling heavy loads

Security Clearance:

  • Criminal record check
  • Confidential security clearance
  • Basic security clearance

Language: English or French
