Job Title: Estate Planning and Litigation Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning and Litigation Lawyer to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and services in estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estate Planning: Provide expert legal advice and services in estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate documents.
  • Estate Administration: Manage estate administration processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and client wishes.
  • Estate Litigation: Represent clients in estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary claims.
  • Strategic Guidance: Offer strategic legal guidance to clients on complex estate issues.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of call to the bar in British Columbia.
  • Extensive experience in estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and cases efficiently.
