About the Role

This position supports IT and promotes fair and transparent purchasing of goods and services in alignment with the AESO's Procurement Policy. The successful candidate will provide centralized support for IT's procure-to-pay processes, including sourcing, contracting, purchase orders, receiving goods/services, and payment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support IT procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policy and directives;
  • Provide expertise on contract and document management, including writing and reviewing contracts;
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for procurement-related information;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Similar work experience at a Junior/Intermediate level for a minimum of 3 years;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
