Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Staff Management and Training

Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management and Ordering

Manage inventory levels and order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.

Quality Control and Assurance

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.

Work Setting

Restaurant experience is essential, with a focus on fine dining or high-volume restaurants.

Language

Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Availability

A minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
