Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Professional to join our team as a Cloud Security Engineer. As a key member of our DevSecOps Team, you will play a vital role in enhancing and validating the security of our cloud systems and platforms.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to make a real impact on our organization's security posture. You will be responsible for performing security assessments, building and maintaining security tools, and providing architectural security guidance to our DevOps team.
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles with a preference in engineering, and proven software development experience. They will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to influence others, and a strong understanding of industry standard regulations and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO, NIST, SANS, SOX, SOC II, HIPAA).
Responsibilities:- Perform security assessments of KUBRA systems, applications, and infrastructure, providing written reports and recommendations for management review.
- Build and maintain security tools with an emphasis on automation, and perform vulnerability assessments (including DAST and SAST).
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security and compliance of all KUBRA owned computing systems and applications.
- Provide architectural security guidance to DevOps teams building cloud infrastructure in compliance with industry standards.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles with a preference in engineering.
- Proven software development experience, and experience working with software development or devops teams.
- Experience in public cloud is required: AWS (Required), Azure/GCP (Optional).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and an ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in all client communications.
- Able to influence others, build relationships, manage conflicts, and handle pressure.
