Senior Manager, Domestic Tax

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Domestic Tax to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As a key member of our Domestic Tax team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients, driving business growth, and leading a team of professionals.
About the Role
- Evaluate client business processes and policies to identify tax opportunities and develop proactive tax strategies.
- Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues relevant to the client's business.
- Provide technical and project management leadership to team members for Domestic Tax projects or assignments.
- Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and provide effective support for engagements.
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.
Requirements
- CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program or Master's in Tax.
- 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years.
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
