Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Professional to join our team at Snapshot Deliveries Ltd. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal damage and optimal storage.
  • Package Sorting: Sort packages for delivery, prioritizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Basic Security Clearance: Hold basic security clearance.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing client satisfaction and needs.
