Job Description
Bayshore HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Nova Scotia. As an OT Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for providing in-home community assessments and treatment to clients. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on healthcare in Nova Scotia.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of clients in their home environment and establish treatment programs.
Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with other healthcare team members as needed.
Communicate with clients and caregivers to provide education and recommendations on treatment strategies.
Other Responsibilities:
Maintain active standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia.
Participate in ongoing education activities and adhere to Bayshore HealthCare policies and procedures.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia.
Preference for three years of experience providing occupational therapy services.
What You Can Expect:
Per visit rates: $80-$150.
