Job Description:
The Process/Product Lifecycle Engineer 2 will play a critical role in ensuring the production line meets safety, availability, quality, cost, and compliance targets. This includes driving advanced failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions for product quality concerns and/or issues during manufacturing and NPI ramp.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sustain the production line to ensure Safety, Availability, Quality, Cost, and Compliance (SAQCC) targets are met.
- Develop and implement process improvements through FMEA, DOE & Six Sigma, etc., to ascertain and recommend improvements to processes or test methods.
- Collaborate with R&D to develop Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) processes for NPI, leveraging learning from existing products and providing feedback on material component selection and associated test plans.
- Work closely with other departments, including research and development, manufacturing, tooling, facilities, supply chain, and quality assurance, to develop processes for new products, sustain and improve processes for existing products.
- Actively participate in problem-solving and knowledge-sharing activities to drive innovation and excellence within the organization.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of related experience with a Master's/Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in FDA-regulated environments is a plus.
- Knowledge about laser welding/cutting and surface chemistry is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and environments.
- Capable of defining test plans for components, materials, and systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
