The successful candidate will possess 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, 10+ years' Canadian experience, and 5+ years' leadership experience within an EPCM / industrial plant environment. Experience in the Oil & Gas, Petro-chemical, or Pharmaceutical industry is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering fit-for-purpose approaches and designs for clients and have proven experience with:

  • Major Project Discipline Lead
  • Performing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering design in accordance with project execution plans and regulatory guidelines
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and support on technical issues (mentoring junior engineers & designers)

Key Accountabilities:
  • Defining, planning, and stewarding engineering scope of work and monitoring schedule, costs, quality (key drawings, design concepts, calculations, etc.) of a team of engineers reporting to the lead
  • Interfacing with all project team members and client representatives; coordinating with clients to ensure timely receipt and delivery of information
  • Preparing reports & estimates (e.g., resource estimates, deliverable lists, and discipline lead status reports)
