The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure-stream position in American Studies. The successful candidate will be named the Bissell-Heyd-Associates Chair in American Studies for a five-year term, renewable following a favourable review. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an expected start date of July 1, 2025. The Centre for the Study of the United States may also be held by the successful candidate. The Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto is a world-renowned institution, and this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to its academic excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to teach, conduct research, and contribute to the academic community. The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy is a leading centre for research and education in global affairs and public policy.
