The Hamilton Regional Indian Centre is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the urban Aboriginal population in the Greater Hamilton area. Our mission is to promote culturally appropriate programs that foster independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging among our clients.

As a Life Skills Coach at HRIC, you will play a vital role in providing programming that enhances life skills and promotes well-being among clients experiencing challenges with housing.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual who shares our commitment to serving the Indigenous community. If you possess a college diploma in Social Services or a related field, strong communication skills, and experience working in an Indigenous organization, we encourage you to apply.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide life skills coaching to clients in various settings
  • Foster independence and confidence among clients
  • Develop and implement culturally sensitive programs

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • College diploma in Social Services or a related field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in an Indigenous organization (an asset)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the homelessness serving system
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (an asset)
