About this role:
We are seeking an empathetic and compassionate Resident Advocate to join our team at COGIR Immobilier. As a Resident Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, well-being, and safety of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and codes of ethics
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse
- Contribute to the adjustment of a resident's action plan based on their observations
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity
- Answering call bells
- Respond to all emergency situations
Requirements:
- PDSB training
- Up to date CPR/AED training certificates
