About This Role

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in Barrie, Ontario. As a key member of our Canadian Business Banking segment, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions that meet their unique needs.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lending and sales, with the ability to build trust and rapport with high-net-worth clients. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand client needs and develop strategies to grow revenue and expand our market presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of high-value clients, providing them with exceptional service and tailored financial solutions;
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow revenue and expand our market presence;
  • Analyze client financial data and provide insights to help drive business growth;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated financial solutions that meet client needs;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or economics;
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial lending and sales;
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge of Onboarding, Know Your Customer, Anti Money Laundering processes.

What We Offer
